Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) Location: Tower Hamlets, LondonHours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pmPay: £97 - £120 per day (depending on experience)Start Date: ASAPContract Type: Ongoing About the Role We are seeking a passionate and proactive Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a welcoming primary school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. You'll be working with students who have a range of SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and learning needs, including Autism and ADHD. Key Responsibilities Support students in developing their social, emotional, and cognitive skills Work closely with the Class Teacher, SENCO, and external professionals (e.g. Educational Psychologists) Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment Provide one-to-one and small group support to children across different year groups About the School Supportive, close-knit team with strong community values Easily accessible by public transport, with nearby street parking Regular training and professional development opportunities (Safeguarding, SEN Awareness, etc.) Excellent pathway for those aspiring to careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, or Pastoral Support Ideal Candidate Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
