The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified SEN Teacher to join a beautiful team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and dynamic educator with a deep understanding of various special educational needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who wants to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, designing and delivering tailored lessons that help students overcome challenges and achieve their personal best. Your Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for students with a range of special educational needs.
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.
• Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes well-being and a love for learning.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with students, parents, and other professionals.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to student support.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and involve them in their child's education.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching students with special educational needs in a school setting.
• A strong understanding of SEN frameworks, assessment, and strategies.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and resilient nature.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• The ability to be flexible and resourceful.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
