As the SEN English Teacher, you will be responsible for:
...- Designing and delivering high-quality, engaging English lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students with Special Educational Needs.
- Adapting curriculum content and using frameworks such as P Scales to ensure accessibility and relevance for all students.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Collaborating effectively with the Head Teacher, SEN Coordinator, and a dedicated team of staff to implement student support plans.
- Managing the classroom and student behaviour according to school policy.
- Providing personal care support where required, with a proactive and compassionate approach.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Proven experience working with SEN students within a UK school setting is essential.
- A strong commitment to inclusive teaching practices and methodologies.
- Possession of a valid DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one immediately.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in curriculum adaptation and understanding of frameworks like P Scales.
