My Primary team are currently working with a wonderful primary school based in Preston. The school has a specialist SEN inclusion unit within the school that supports specific children outside of the mainstream classroom. The unit normally has a qualified teacher and 3 Teaching assistants who support up to 3 pupils at any one time.The school are looking to appoint a qualified and experienced teacher to run and manage the unit after the February half term break. The role will be on a full-time basis until the summer break.The pupils are aged between reception and year 2 in the unit. The role will be to manage the 3 TA's in the unit as well as prepare resources and plan lessons each day.The school are offering up to UPS1 salary along with free CPD.The ideal candidate will hold QTS and have experience of developing and delivering lessons to SEN students.Reed are committed to safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.
