Urgent Vacancy: Specialist SEN Teacher in Liverpool
Randstad Education is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for a crucial full-time, long-term position in Liverpool. It is an excellent opportunity for an educator dedicated to making a tangible difference in student's lives.
We are looking for a resilient and innovative professional prepared to support students with a range of complex and profound needs, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD).
Your Daily Impact (Key Duties)
- Differentiated Teaching: Masterfully plan and deliver highly individualised and differentiated lessons that meet diverse learning styles.
- P Scales Compliance: Create and implement lesson plans strictly adhering to the P Scales curriculum framework.
- Holistic Support: Foster strong, positive relationships with pupils to nurture both their academic achievement and personal well-being.
- Classroom Leadership: Utilise strong behaviour management and creative teaching strategies to ensure a consistently positive and secure learning environment.
- Care Assistance: Provide compassionate support with personal care routines when required.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience: Proven, essential prior experience supporting pupils with SEN in a UK school setting.
- Compliance: An active Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or immediate willingness to apply for a new one.
- Eligibility: Possess the legal right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role).
