Job Opportunity: Specialist SEN Educator
Randstad Education is actively searching for a highly dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in the Liverpool area.
We require an innovative and resilient educator committed to creating an exceptional learning environment for students with complex needs. You will be working with a diverse pupil group, including those with diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD).
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Instructional Design: Skillfully create and execute highly differentiated lessons and individualised learning plans.
- Curriculum Adherence: Ensure all teaching is compliant with the P Scales curriculum framework.
- Pastoral Care: Build rapport to foster student's academic progress and social-emotional growth.
- Behaviour & Engagement: Implement effective behaviour management and creative teaching techniques to sustain a positive classroom.
- Student Support: Provide assistance with personal care routines when necessary.
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Essential Applicant Criteria (Mandatory)
Only candidates who meet ALL the following requirements will be considered:
- Qualification: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience: Proven, prior experience supporting SEN students within UK schools.
- Legal Status: Possess the legal right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not offered).
- Compliance: You must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to process a new application immediately.
