If you are a compassionate leader with a heart for special education, we want to hear from you A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Qualified SEN Teacher to join our partner specialist school in Bury St Edmunds. This is a Full-Time long-term position, offering you the consistency and time needed to build deep, trusting relationships with your pupils and their families. You will be teaching a small class of students with diverse needs, including Autism (ASC) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Please note: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a mandatory requirement for this role. Key Responsibilities Bespoke Instruction: Design and deliver a highly individualized curriculum that balances academic progress with essential life and social skills.Target Management: Manage and update Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets, ensuring all learning is mapped to the specific needs of the child.Team Leadership: Manage a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, providing them with clear direction and support to ensure a unified classroom approach.Inclusive Environment: Create a sensory-appropriate and safe learning space that reduces anxiety and promotes engagement and curiosity.<l
