Location: Ilford, London Borough of Redbridge School Type: Pupil Refferal UnitStart Date: ASAP / Next TermContract: Full-time (Long-term to Permanent)Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist SEN client school in Ilford, Redbridge, to recruit a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to work with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This provision supports secondary-aged pupils who have struggled in mainstream settings and benefit from a highly structured, therapeutic and nurturing environment. The school places a strong emphasis on emotional regulation, behaviour support, and positive relationships, helping students to re-engage with learning and achieve personal and academic success. The Role: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEMH and additional needs Create a calm, consistent and supportive classroom environment Support pupils with emotional wellbeing, behaviour for learning and social development Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and external professionals Contribute to personalised learning and behaviour support plans The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with SEMH, SEN or in alternative provision (preferred but not essential) Strong behaviour management skills and a trauma-informed approach Patient, empathetic and resilient with a passion for supporting vulnerable learners Confident in building positive, trusting relatio
