• Provide bespoke, one-on-one, and small-group assistance to pupils with diagnosed SEN, tailoring educational methods to meet their specific requirements.
• Act as a pivotal collaborator, integrating seamlessly with the classroom teacher and wider support team to foster an environment of total inclusion.
• Systematically observe and document student development, providing crucial, detailed feedback on progress to inform future support planning for staff and parents.
• Motivate and encourage students to build independence, self-confidence, and a passion for learning.

Essential Criteria for Success (Requirements)

• A minimum of six months demonstrable experience as a Teaching Assistant within a UK educational setting.
• Prior experience supporting children with SEN is highly advantageous and strongly preferred.
• Possession of a current Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or immediate willingness to apply for one.
• Exceptional patience, resilient communication skills, and an enthusiastic, solution-focused approach to challenges.
• Full-time availability for an immediate, long-term placement.
