Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant eager to make a difference in a student's life?

Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a full-time, long-term SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school in Wirral. In this role, you will be crucial in supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs, helping them thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

This position involves providing tailored support to students with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and SLD. You will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment by:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support.

• Assisting with focus, engagement, and behaviour management.

• Adapting learning resources and communication methods.

• Supporting personal care tasks when needed.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient individual who:

• Has prior experience working with children with SEN.

• Possesses a patient and empathetic approach.

• Is confident working within a classroom setting.

• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply).

• Has the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not provided).

• Is available full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am-3:30 pm).
