We're looking for a patient, creative, and supportive tutor to work with a Year 8 student who needs help re-engaging with education, particularly in Maths and English. They have SEN needs (ADHD and possible ASD, not formally diagnosed) and have struggled to stay focused in lessons, leading to a loss of interest in these subjects. This role relies heavily on a mentoring-based approach. The priority is relationship-building, emotional safety, and helping the student feel supported and understood. Academic learning will be introduced slowly and only at the student's pace, once trust and confidence have been established.
