As we expand, we are looking for passionate, reliable, and skilled individuals to join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of families across London.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a confident and creative SEN Sports Coach to lead group sessions and/or deliver one-to-one sports sessions for children with a variety of needs.

This is not just a coaching role, you’ll be part of a supportive network, implementing session plans, contributing to events, and growing with our team.

We are only looking for applicants who:

  • Drive
  • Have a minimum of 1 year’s experience working directly with children with Special Educational Needs (non-negotiable).
  • Are passionate about making a genuine impact, not just looking for a pay check.
  • Are reliable, consistent, and committed to helping our children and families thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging sports sessions tailored to the needs of each child or group.
  • Lead sessions confidently, ensuring every child feels safe, included, and supported.
  • Work closely with families and our team to track progress and adapt sessions where needed.
  • Contribute to community events, special programmes, and the ongoing development of SEN Sports LTD.
  • Maintain a professional and positive image, representing our values at all times.
  • Be proactive, solution-focused, and ready to think on your feet when challenges arise.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: Minimum 1 year of experience working with SEN children (e.g., autism, ADHD, developmental delays, etc.).
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Strong leadership skills with the confidence to take charge of sessions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative, adaptable, and able to improvise when needed.
  • Passion for sports, physical education, and child development.
  • Reliable, consistent, and committed to weekend availability.
  • Team player who contributes to the growth and vision of SEN Sports Club.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Sports coaching qualifications or relevant certifications (e.g., Level 2 Coaching, PE, SEN training).
  • Experience working in both group and one-to-one settings.
  • First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Hours & Pay:

  • Weekend sessions (Saturdays and Sundays).
  • Additional sessions may become available as the club expands.
  • Pay dependent on experience and qualifications.
