Role Overview Leading small-group support sessions for pupils with SEMH needs, including emotional regulation, behaviour challenges, anxiety and traumaDelivering targeted interventions that build resilience, social awareness and problem-solving skillsUsing clear, consistent behaviour-management and de-escalation strategiesAdapting tasks and resources to keep pupils focused, engaged and progressingPromoting teamwork, positive peer interactions and growing independenceWorking alongside teachers, the SENCO and external specialists to keep support plans on track What We're Looking For Solid experience supporting children with SEMH or additional needsA calm, steady presence with strong communication and boundary-setting skillsTransferable experience from youth work, coaching, mentoring, care or similar rolesConfidence in managing group dynamics and maintaining a structured environmentWillingness to learn new approaches and take on ongoing CPDEnhanced DBS, full employment history and the right to work in the UK Why Join This School?
