SEMH Learning Support Assistant (FE) – Always Recruiting Location: Various FE College SitesPay: £15.55–£20 per hourContract: Ongoing / FlexibleExperience Required: Must have FE experience We are continuously recruiting SEMH Learning Support Assistants to work across Further Education colleges, supporting students with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in building rapport, supporting emotional wellbeing, and helping learners overcome barriers to education. Role Responsibilities Supporting students experiencing anxiety, trauma, behavioural needs, or social difficultiesImplementing strategies to improve emotional resilience and engagementManaging behaviour using positive and restorative approachesHelping students re-engage in education and build confidenceLiaising with safeguarding, pastoral teams, and external professionals Requirements MUST have FE experience OR experience working with ages 16+Experience supporting young people with SEMH needsStrong communication and de-escalation skillsA calm, supportive, and patient approachDBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one ?
