What We Need: 3+ years data engineering experience in financial services Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy) Advanced SQL for complex queries and data modeling AWS experience (Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, S3) Understanding of KYC/AML compliance and PCI DSS Experience with payment systems, fraud detection, or risk modeling Real-time data processing with Kafka or Kinesis PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis database expertise Docker and Kubernetes containerization Based in Poland, Ukraine, Romania, or India Excellent English communication 4+ hours overlap with UK business hours Available for video calls and collaborative work Preferred Experience: Previous UK/European client work GDPR compliance knowledge Open Banking standards Time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB) CI/CD pipelines and Terraform/CloudFormation What We Offer: Competitive monthly rates at market standards Steady project flow from established client base 3-12 month engagements with potential extensions Direct collaboration with client technical teams All compliance and administrative work handled Long-term partnership opportunities Professional development through diverse projects How It Works: We handle client relationships, project scoping, invoicing, and compliance.
