Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Year 4/5 (ASAP Start - Easter, with Potential to Extend)Location: Sedgley Start: ASAP Contract: Until Easter (with potential continuation)A well-established special school in Sedgley is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a small Year 4/5 class. This role is to start as soon as possible, initially running until Easter, with the possibility of being extended for the right person.About the RoleYou will be working within a supportive team, helping pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning in a calm and structured environment. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 4/5 group.Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND.Assisting with differentiation, behaviour support, and classroom routines.Creating a nurturing, consistent, and engaging learning atmosphere.Working closely with teachers and other support staff to meet pupils' individual needs. What the School are Looking For A Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant (or equivalent).Experience or confidence working with SEND pupils.Someone patient, proactive, and able to build strong, positive relationships.Reliability, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.
