Security Architect - 58+ Week Contract (Inside IR35) Location: Hybrid, Newcastle Contract Length: 58+ weeks Daily Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35) We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to join a major cloud transformation programme. This long-term contract offers the opportunity to shape the organisation's cloud security framework and play a key role in embedding security across multiple teams and platforms. Key Responsibilities: Define and maintain the organisation's cloud security architecture and framework.Ensure cloud security controls are correctly implemented, documented, and transitioned into managed operations.Act as the subject matter expert for cloud and DevOps security, influencing decisions across multiple teams.Lead and support the team in delivering effective, scalable cloud security solutions.Conduct regular assessments of cloud security controls to ensure compliance and performance.Deliver training and raise security awareness across engineering and development teams.Work closely with cross-functional groups to integrate security into the development lifecycle.Stay current with cloud security trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Key Skills Required: Expert proficiency in DevOps.Advanced skills in Git and GitLab CI/CD.Strong experience in Cloud Infrastructure Security and Cloud Security Architecture.Background in managed cloud security services.Ability to collaborate across engineering, architecture, and operations teams.
