Major Responsibilities for the role:

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum and school policies.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school curriculum and initiatives.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and external stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students..

To get cleared as a PE Teacher you will need the following Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed).
• Specialism in Physical Education or related discipline.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for promoting physical activity and well-being.
• Experience teaching PE at the secondary level, preferably within a UK school setting.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
