An experienced Alterations Seamstress is required at our clothing alteration shop located in Kirkby.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making alterations and repairs to different clothes and occasion wear garments within the agreed timescales.

Alterations must be made to a very high standard, so previous relevant experience in sewing is essential, preferably in completing alterations and repairs to bridal and prom dresses.

The position is available immediately for the right candidate who must be competent with all aspects of using an industrial flatbed sewing machine and overlocker, and who must also be hard working and able to work under pressure while demonstrating positive attitude at work.

Full time or Part time (hours to be discussed on the interview). Depending on quality of work and production, incentive bonuses may be offered as well.
