About
We are looking for a skilled Scriptwriter to join our long-term football documentary YouTube channel. The channel uploads 1–3 videos per week, and each script will be 1,700–2,000 words (for a 10–15 minute video). The pay is $5 per script, and the writing must be engaging, emotional, and built for YouTube storytelling — not robotic, not AI-generated, and not essay-style. Requirements:- Strong storytelling ability with a natural, documentary-style narration tone Must be excellent at writing powerful hooks — the first 5, 15, and 30 seconds of the script must clearly tell the viewer what the video is about and give immediate satisfaction that they are watching exactly what they clicked for (no slow intros, no generic buildup) Must know how to structure a script to keep retention high (cliffhangers, pacing, engaging transitions, emotional pull, etc.) Must deliver 100% original content — no plagiarism, no AI rewrites Able to write 1–3 scripts per week consistently Good knowledge of football (historic + modern) is a big advantage Able to submit scripts within 24–48 hours when assigned Open to feedback and revisions if needed To apply, send: 1–2 writing samples (preferably YouTube documentary-style scripts, NOT blogs or essays) A short message about your writing experience + football knowledge Your weekly availability Confirmation that you accept $5 per 1,700–2,000 word script We are looking for writers who can turn football stories into binge-worthy documentaries with strong hooks and zero drop-off intros. If that sounds like you, apply now — this is a long-term position.
