- Role Overview
- Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of compliance-related projects across gas and building safety services and ensuring projects are planned, resourced and delivered on time, within budget and in full accordance with regulatory and compliance standards.
- Working closely with operational teams, contractors, clients and wider Sureserve Group stakeholders, the Project Manager will drive performance, manage risk and maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Governance
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of compliance projects across gas and building safety services
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and budgets
- Coordinate internal resources and manage external contractors to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues and implement mitigation actions where required
- Ensure all projects meet regulatory, contractual and compliance requirements
- Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, timely and effective communication
- Liaise with clients regarding community benefit obligations and associated activities
- Produce rapid communications to, or on behalf of, clients where required
- Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including operational teams, senior management and external partners
- Operational & Compliance Support
- Work closely with operational teams to drive performance and continuous improvement
- Attend Health & Safety Committee meetings and ensure actions are followed up and closed out
- Lead and support ad hoc projects, including the creation and implementation of new processes and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure compliance alignment
- Track and report monthly KPIs
- Reporting & Communications
- Prepare and deliver monthly Board Reports
- Draft content for monthly newsletters issued by Sureserve Group
- Oversee the social media planner in conjunction with an appointed subcontractor
- Liaise with all Sureserve Compliance North offices to gather content for social media and internal/ external communications
- People, Culture & Engagement
- Support staff engagement initiatives, including staff wellness days and fundraising events
- Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture
- Group & Strategic Initiatives
- Work with Sureserve Group to coordinate and deploy Project Quantum across Sureserve Compliance North
- Support wider group initiatives and projects as required
- Skills & Experience
- Proven practical experience in project management within compliance, gas, building safety or a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards, health & safety and compliance frameworks
- Excellent planning, organisational and resource coordination skills
- Experience managing contractors and third-party suppliers
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Calm, level-headed approach with the ability to manage pressure and competing priorities
