Science Teacher - The Wirral

Pay: £150 - £220 per day, dependent on experience and placement.

The Role and Your Duties:

We have opportunities available in all areas of the Wirral, including those with postcodes:

• Birkenhead (CH41, CH42)
• Wallasey (CH44, CH45)
• Prenton (CH43)
• Heswall (CH60, CH61)
• West Kirby & Hoylake (CH47, CH48)
• Upton & Greasby (CH49)
• Bebington & Bromborough (CH62, CH63)
• Ellesmere Port & Neston (CH64, CH65, CH66)

As a Science Teacher, your key responsibilities will be:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons for students across all Key Stages, from 3 to 5.
• Fostering a love for science and making the subject accessible and enjoyable for all.
• Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
• Collaborating with colleagues within the science and wider school departments to share best practices.
• Creating a positive and safe classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.

Skills and Qualifications Needed:

To be a successful candidate, you must have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in a relevant science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
• Proven experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one).
