This setting supports children and young people with Autism (ASD), SEMH needs, and additional learning differences, providing a highly nurturing and structured environment.About the Role:Deliver engaging and accessible KS3–KS4 Science lessons tailored to individual learning needs.Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, anxiety, and SEMH.Plan and assess effectively, ensuring progress for pupils working at different levels.Work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team including therapists and specialist support staff.Foster positive relationships and promote emotional regulation and independence in the classroom.Contribute to whole-school initiatives, enrichment activities, and a culture of high expectations.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).Strong subject knowledge across General Science.Experience teaching in SEN or mainstream with exposure to complex needs (ASD/SEMH preferred).A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.Excellent behaviour management skills using trauma-informed and positive support strategies.A passion for making Science engaging and meaningful for all learners.What’s on Offer:A supportive senior leadership team and specialist training opportunities.Small class sizes with high levels of support.A chance to make a real impact in a highly rewarding
