About
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and Optimise Schedules: Create daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, aiming for high efficiency and adherence to operational constraints.
• Resource Allocation: Accurately assign available staff and assets to scheduled tasks based on qualifications, availability, legal requirements, and operational needs.
• Monitor and Adjust: Continuously monitor real-time operations, identify discrepancies or delays, and make immediate adjustments to schedules to maintain service levels and address unexpected issues.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse scheduling data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Generate performance reports on resource utilisation, schedule adherence, and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with operations managers, team leaders, and other departments to gather scheduling inputs, communicate schedule changes, and resolve conflicts.
• System Management: Utilise and maintain specialised scheduling software and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
• Experience: Proven experience in a dedicated scheduling, planning, or logistics role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., workforce management systems, enterprise resource planning) and strong competency in Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet software).
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data entry and schedule creation to ensure accuracy.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external liaison.
• Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.
Hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:30am -5:30pm
