The SAP P2P Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimising the procure-to-pay processes within the accounting and finance department. This temporary role in the public sector requires expertise in SAP4HANA systems and previous financial accounting experience (e.g., accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.) Client Details This organisation operates within the public sector and is based in London. It is a well-established entity with a focus on delivering essential life saving services. Description P2P & Finance System Oversight: Oversee end-to-end SAP P2P processes and provide first-line technical support for AP, AR, GL, Banking, and Project modules.Operational Support & Collaboration: Conduct daily system checks and assist finance teams with payment runs, user access, and workflow improvements to ensure seamless operations.Master Data & Reporting: Manage Master Data governance for cost centres and GL hierarchies while generating reports to provide actionable business insights.System Enhancements & Testing: Identify, test, and implement SAP system upgrades and new features to drive continuous improvement and resolve technical issues.Compliance & Training: Ensure strict adherence to public sector regulations while maintaining comprehensive documentation and delivering end-user training. Profile The successful SAP P2P Specialist will have: SAP P2P Expertise: Proven proficiency in SAP P2P modules, processes, and related finance functions (AP/AR/GL).Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues promptly.Proven experience in an accounting and finance environment.Communication: Strong collaboration skills for effective user training, documentation, and team support.
