Sales Supervisor – Retail Showroom

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Supervisor to play a key role in driving showroom performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and building long-term customer relationships. This role combines hands-on retail sales with team collaboration, operational accuracy, and customer journey ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a loyal customer base through a continuous proactive sales approach, building rapport and generating new and repeat business
- Manage the end-to-end customer sales journey, ensuring customer wants and needs are at the forefront and expectations are exceeded
- Respond to customer enquiries with accurate, timely, and professional information
- Handle inbound sales enquiries and make outbound sales calls to both new and existing customers
- Advise customers on the most suitable flooring and showroom products for their needs and specifications
- Process customer orders with 100% accuracy, ensuring all details are correctly recorded
- Process purchase orders and liaise with logistics and internal teams to coordinate timely deliveries
- Work closely with in-branch colleagues to build relationships and cross-sell to retail and trade customers
- Ensure the showroom is always presented to a high standard and reflects excellent customer service
- Use creative and proactive methods to ensure the showroom is known locally and continues to attract footfall
- Always strive to make the showroom the best in the area, anticipating and exceeding customer needs
- Support sales performance and contribute to achieving individual and branch targets
What We’re Looking For
- Previous sales experience in a retail showroom or similar environment is preferred, but a positive and proactive attitude is equally important
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and results-driven approach
- High attention to detail, particularly when processing customer orders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment
