Building on recent growth we need an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated Sales Rep to join our team. Operating from our Grimsby depo, we are looking for a suitable applicant with a good knowledge with the ability to deliver on agreed sales targets.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Based in the Grimsby office calling and arranging to meet potential customers on local projects.

Visiting local sites.

Taking bookings over the phone.

Taking bookings via social media

Finding new potential customers.

booking jobs on our system and communicating with drivers

Generating a pipeline of sales opportunities by maintaining a high level of customer engagement and activity.

Building & maintaining relationships by engaging with customers in a positive and professional manner.

You will be expected to:

Work off your own initiative and develop your individual sales plan, targeting prospective and existing customers.

Ensure the agreed sales plan and other targets are delivered upon.

Engage professionally and positively with customers up to director/owner level.

The ideal candidate will have:

Established contacts.

A good technical knowledge of sales in the construction sector

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

Problem solving and decision-making skills with an eye for an opportunity.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, and people skills.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.

A strong focus on providing the best customer service experience with an attention to detail.

Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines by planning and managing your time and travel efficiently.

Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Ability to work calmly under pressure.

Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Enthusiasm and desire for ongoing training to further develop your knowledge and skills.

salary is dependent upon experience and performance.
