- About This Role
- The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of post-sales data and ensuring flawless delivery of event products and programs. This position oversees comprehensive order management while collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless delivery processes. Precision and accuracy are fundamental to this role, as the data directly supports critical business functions across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Key Responsibilities
- Order Management Excellence
- Maintain data accuracy throughout the entire contract lifecycle
- Review and process fully executed event contracts within Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration and full compliance
- Manage comprehensive product inventory tracking throughout the sales order process, including sponsorship inventories and detailed floor plans
- Facilitate clean handover of sales order information to fulfillment and delivery teams
- Oversee quality control for client billing and invoicing processes, serving as the primary point of contact for sales teams on all billing matters
- Manage the sales order amendment process to ensure changes are accurately reflected throughout the complete event lifecycle
- Provide responsive triage and support to sales teams by addressing specific client requests
- Conduct thorough audits and reconcile data disparities across multiple systems
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Event Operations teams to confirm contract status and ensure timely delivery of onsite event requirements
- Support comprehensive event rebook processes, collateral management, and tracking from the beginning of the event lifecycle through event completion
- Sales Process Optimization
- Identify and implement strategic process improvements to enhance overall sales efficiency
- Develop and maintain standardized sales procedures and comprehensive documentation
- Monitor compliance with established sales policies and procedures across all operations
- Support the implementation of industry best practices across sales operations
- Qualifications
- Essential Experience & Skills
- Demonstrable experience in a quality control environment with focus on data accuracy, delivery excellence, reporting precision, and reconciliation of sold programs
- Exceptional organizational abilities with proven capability to balance multiple complex projects while maintaining absolute attention to detail
- Strong focus on accuracy and timeliness of deadlines and billing delivery requirements
- Proven track record as an effective influencer capable of working seamlessly across multiple internal teams including Sales, Operations, Billing, Finance, and Client Services
- Ability to communicate conceptual solutions clearly and effectively to peers and management
- Exemplary customer service standards with demonstrated motivation and drive to succeed
- Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of digital optimization and advertising production processes
- Experience in billing or operations roles
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform
