  • Topcon Healthcare sees eye health differently. Our vision is to empower providers with smart and efficient technologies for enhanced patient care. Keeping pace with the ever-changing landscape of the healthcare industry, we offer the latest integrated solutions including advanced multimodal imaging, vendor-neutral data management and groundbreaking remote diagnostic technology. By investing in value-driven innovations, Topcon works to enable people to enjoy good health and a high quality of life.
  • Job Description
  • At Topcon Healthcare, we believe in advancing eye care through intelligent technology and customer partnership. We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager / Product Trainer & IT Specialist to lead commercial growth, deliver technical excellence, and provide world-class customer education across Norway or Finland.
  • This is a hybrid position that blends strategic sales management, IT proficiency, and product training leadership. You will not only drive revenue but also ensure that customers receive exceptional value from their Topcon systems — through expert guidance, seamless digital integration, and ongoing support.
  • What You’ll Do
  • In this multifaceted role, you’ll combine commercial strategy with technical know-how and customer training to strengthen Topcon’s market position and customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Drive commercial growth by developing and executing a territory business plan to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing long-term relationships with hospitals, clinics, and optometry practices.
  • Act as the primary customer contact, leading meetings, product demonstrations, needs assessments, and negotiations.
  • Deliver professional product and software training to customers, distributors, and internal teams, ensuring confidence in Topcon’s technology.
  • Serve as a product expert and trainer, developing engaging learning materials and supporting knowledge transfer across the region.
  • Provide IT support and integration services, including software installation, SQL database configuration, and network troubleshooting.
  • Advise customers on data management, cybersecurity, and IT best practices in line with clinical compliance and global standards.
  • Represent Topcon Healthcare at national and international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer events.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy, improve customer engagement, and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Who You Are
  • You are a strategic, customer-driven, and technically savvy professional, who thrives on turning complex technology into clear value for customers. You combine commercial acumen with strong communication and teaching skills, making you both a trusted advisor and an inspiring partner.

You will

  • Demonstrate a consultative, data-driven approach to sales and customer engagement.
  • Communicate confidently with clinicians, technical teams, and business decision-makers.
  • Act as both a leader and collaborator, equally comfortable driving initiatives and working cross-functionally.
  • Adapt quickly to change, managing multiple priorities with professionalism and focus.
  • Represent Topcon with integrity, enthusiasm, and expertise in every interaction.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Optometry, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5–10+ years’ experience in sales of medical devices, ophthalmic equipment, or clinical diagnostic technology.
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding B2B sales targets and managing complex customer relationships.
  • Experience in product training, technical education, or customer onboarding.
  • Strong IT knowledge — including Windows environments, Microsoft SQL Server, and network configuration.
  • Familiarity with data security, GDPR, and clinical IT standards.
  • Experience in exhibitions, trade fairs, or conferences.
  • Fluent in English and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Additional Information
  • If you’re ready to bring together your sales leadership, training capability, and IT expertise to help shape the future of eye care, we’d love to hear from you.
  • Please indicate your preferred work location (Norway or Finland) when applying.
