Sales Coordinator – Barnsley Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a fantastic family-run business and we’re on the lookout for a versatile Sales Coordinator.This is an exciting roles offering real variety, responsibility, and a chance to shape the way we work. Location: BarnsleyHours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)Sector: Flooring & Carpets (expansion plan into interiors)Customers: Residential, Insurance, B2B & B2C The Role This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational and people skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing customer service with operational efficiency. You’ll be the bridge between our sales team, customers, and installation team — ensuring smooth communication and a professional service. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Coordination Liaise with customers and fitters to organise installation schedules.Adapt plans quickly when challenges arise, keeping all parties informed.Act as a communication link between sales and operations Finance & Systems Use SAGE (preferably) for sales ledger corrections, accounts input, and invoice management.Handle CRM, WMS, and POS processes.Manage external applications that feed into SAGE.Provide purchase ledger reporting as required. Customer Service & Sales Handle and prioritise customer complaints, ensuring urgent matters are resolved promptly.Support the sales team — including face-to-face on the shop floor when needed.Confidently upsell and engage directly with customers.Act as a proactive Customer Servi
