Location: Halifax
Part-time (34.4 hrs per week)

Salary: £26,106 - £28,653 (pro rota)

Applications are invited for the role Calderdale’s Clerical Safeguarding officer.
Police Staff to work with Calderdale Safeguarding to coordinate the daily DRAMM (Daily Risk Assessment Management Meeting).

You will review domestic abuse incidents and prepare the referrals to be heard in the DRAMM (Daily Risk Assessment Management Meeting).

To deliver this core function, the role involves working in partnership with other internal West Yorkshire Police departments, and external forces.

You will work with agencies to prepare and coordinate the DRAMM. This involves the use of video conferencing, contacting agencies directly and recording the MARAC, the discussions and agreed actions.

Working hours, Monday to Friday 7am-3pm

Applicants are not expected to have previous experience of Safeguarding / Domestic Abuse. A victim focussed approach is essential.
