Education, Employment and Training AdviserLocation: IslingtonContract: 3 months with possibility of an extension.Aatom Recruitment is currently seeking an Education, Employment and Training (EET) Adviser to work on behalf of a local authority. This is a key role within the Islington Virtual School Team and the Children Looked-After and Leaving Care Service, supporting care-experienced young people aged 17–25 to access education, employment, and training opportunities.About the RoleAs an EET Adviser, you will play a vital part in ensuring the council meets its statutory responsibilities to promote the educational achievement of looked-after children and care leavers. You will work directly with young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) or at risk of becoming NEET, helping them overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes.This role involves:Building strong relationships with young people and professionals across Children’s Services.Supporting and challenging stakeholders to implement strategies that improve EET outcomes.Developing creative solutions, including the Care Leaver Youth Trailblazers Programme, to enhance opportunities for care leavers.Coordinating work experience and shadowing placements with local employers.Maintaining accurate records and producing reports on performance indicators.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.Manage a caseload of young people, providing tailored support into education, employment, and training.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to remove barriers to engagement.Analyse data to inform service improvements and mon
