Role purpose We are currently looking for a Risk Manager to play a key role in driving a proactive risk culture across Vicinity Centres. This role is central to maintaining and embedding our enterprise risk management framework, supporting strategic initiatives, and working collaboratively to support Vicinity’s strategic objectives and business operations. This includes, working with the business to raise the level of risk awareness and advising, guiding and monitoring the integration of risk into business decisions and operations. What You’ll Do Lead the assessment and management of operational and strategic risks across Vicinity Deliver engaging risk workshops and training programs to build awareness and capability Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure risk is integrated into decision-making and operations Develop tailored risk reporting for diverse audiences Maintain and enhance risk registers and control libraries Support the implementation of control assurance programs Who You Are A seasoned risk professional with demonstrated experience in risk management Skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to flex your style across varied teams Strong communicator with a knack for simplifying complex concepts Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable—able to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team Familiar with risk and control assurance frameworks Knowledge of regulatory and operational risk landscapes Understanding of risk and control frameworks, risk appetite and monitoring methodologies Why Vicinity?
