Risk Documentation OfficerCity of LondonPermanent or Temp to Perm£50,000 - £60,000cer Financial are working alongside an international, warm and exciting bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Risk Documentation Officer to work with them on a permanent basis.The responsibilities of the Risk Documentation Officer will include:Prepare and negotiate facility agreements and associated security documentation in relation to mortgage loans especially BTL, short term loans, trade finance and such other facilities approved by the Bank to ensure alignment with credit approval terms and conditions.In conjunction with the Legal Team, engage with external legal counsels and solicitors for drafting and negotiations of facility and security documents, monitor the progress of the documentation activity.Participate in the closing process of the documentation and prepare completion checklist to make sure all documents are duly executed.Take responsibility for the safe custody of facility and security documents and maintaining the document register, ensuring all respective expiry dates and deadlines are adhered to.Support the Team lead on ad-hoc functions related to the Documentation activities.The successful Risk Documentation Officer will have:Proven experience in the preparation and negotiation of facility & security documentation.An excellent understanding of real estate documentationAbility to monitor entire legal documentation due diligence from end to end to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.The ideal candidate should possess adequate legal documentation experience within the financial services industry.A university degree level or similar qualificat
