We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Retail Supervisor to support our Purdey store at the prestigious Royal Berkshire. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring the boutique reflects the unparalleled standards of the Purdey brand. This is a unique opportunity to support a luxury retail environment that celebrates tradition, craftsmanship, and the contemporary country lifestyle. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT: Customer Service Greeting and assisting customers to find the goods and products they are looking for. Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers. Provide customers with brand/garment knowledge if required. Give customers an enjoyable, relaxing shopping experience. Responsible for dealing with customer complaints. Stock Control Managing stock levels across the department. Re-stocking shelves with merchandise Buying, receiving and storing the delivery of stock. Ensuring price tags are correct and attached to all merchandise on the shop floor. Shop Maintenance Supporting visual merchandising of the shop Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hoovering and mopping of all areas and cleaning of glass cabinets/shelving etc. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays. Financial Dealing with customer refunds/exchanges. Being responsible for processing cash and card payments. Balancing cash registers with receipts at end of day. HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? Experience in retail, ideally in luxury retail Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client relationship-building skills. A genuine passion for fashion, luxury retail, and/or the country lifestyle. Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Basic proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office (or equivalent) suite. WHAT MAKES OUR GROUP DIFFERENT?
