Position Summary • Responsible for office support and staff schedules for assigned nursing units Principal Accountabilities • Standards of Performance: Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration, Stewardship, Accountability, Quality Education • High school diploma or equivalent Licenses and Certification • N/A Experience and Skills • Technical Experience: 1 year office/clerical experience Role Specific Responsibilities Assists with entering/editing payroll data for assigned nursing departments. Staffing Coordination: Lead daily system staffing calls to ensure adequate coverage across all units. Notify float pool staff of shift assignments following staffing calls and communicate standby statuses to staff as needed. Monitor and adjust staffing levels based on census data, patient acuity, and unforeseen changes, such as call-ins or emergencies. Coordinate and communicate staffing changes promptly to unit managers and staff members. Schedule Management: Assist unit department managers with payroll correction forms and ensure accurate processing. Maintain and update staff schedules for nursing departments, ensuring compliance with staffing and pay policies and procedures. Record Keeping & Communication o Maintain accurate and up-to date records of staffing, including shift changes, employee availability, and attendance.
