What your day could look like Supporting emotional, physical and social needsContributing to care plans and assessmentsEncouraging positive relationships and relational healthSupporting education, hobbies and community activitiesAssisting with household routinesHelping young people develop life skillsAccompanying children to appointments and visitsWorking flexibly, including sleepoversWorking on a three week rolling roster with a mix of early shifts, late shifts and weekends What you will bring You will bring experience in care or education (desirable), reflective practice, strong communication skills, collaborative working and an understanding of trauma and attachment. You will hold a full manual driving licence and be willing to register with the SSSC or work towards the necessary qualifications. We would also consider candidates with no formal qualifications who can demonstrate strong transferable skills, the right values and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
