Your next career opportunity  As a member of the Ecophysiology and Flux group, you will delve into the drought adaptation and water relations of trees and ecosystems across South-Eastern Australia. You'll conduct field and glasshouse experiments, gaining hands-on experience with sophisticated methods. Your role includes maintaining flux towers and contributing to teaching, providing a unique opportunity to develop your research expertise and make a significant impact in the field. Your responsibilities will include:  Conduct Innovative Research: Engage in field studies and glasshouse experiments, contributing to publications in high-impact journals. Maintain and Operate Flux Towers: Ensure operational efficiency of eddy covariance flux towers, including basic maintenance and working at heights. Contribute to Education and Learning: Participate in teaching activities, student supervision, and academic mentoring. Foster Collaborative Partnerships: Engage with industry stakeholders and professional bodies to enhance research impact. You may be a great fit if:  You possess an MSc or PhD in plant science, with extensive experience in water relations research and working with eddy covariance flux towers. You demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. You may also:  Have demonstrated experience in conducting sophisticated drought experiments and field work. Possess excellent organisational skills, capable of managing deadlines and completing projects efficiently. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with diverse backgrounds. Have experience with flux towers and working at heights. Be committed to contributing to classroom teaching and student supervision.
