Turnaround by Wedneday We are seeking a research analyst with a headhunter or executive recruiting background to create comprehensive salary and total-compensation reports for C-suite roles in the technology sector across North America and Europe. The ideal candidate understands how executive pay is structured in practice, can source and normalize market data, and present findings in an executive-ready format. Scope Roles: CEO, COO, CFO, CTO, CPO, CMO, CRO/VP Sales, CHRO Company profiles: by stage (Seed to Public), size (headcount, revenue), model (SaaS, Consumer, Marketplace, Fintech, AI/ML), and geography (US, Canada, UK, DACH, Nordics, Benelux, France, Southern Europe) Compensation dimensions: base, target/actual bonus, equity (RSU/options, vesting, refresh), long-term incentives, benefits, pay mix, quartiles/deciles, regional differentials, remote premiums Deliverables Clean master dataset (Excel/CSV) with USD/local currency normalization Data dictionary with definitions and transformation rules Methodology memo outlining sources, weighting, outlier handling, equity valuation approach, and limitations Executive slide deck with benchmarks, pay-mix visuals, equity norms, and trend analysis Role-specific peer-group comp packs (public and private peers where available) Update template for quarterly refresh Data Sources Public filings (proxies, S-1s, director remuneration reports) Vendor surveys (Radford, Mercer, WTW), credible open datasets Recruiter intelligence, job ads, structured offer data FX and inflation sources for adjustments All sources must be legitimate and properly cited. Qualifications Executive recruiter/headhunter experience with proven ability to benchmark C-suite pay in tech Strong background in compensation analysis and salary benchmarking Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with data tools (Python/R a plus) Experience preparing polished reports for boards or C-level audiences Detail orientation, defensible methodology, and transparency in sourcing Proposal Guidelines - Include: Past experience in executive search or comp research for tech C-suites Sample outputs (redacted) showing tables, visuals, methodology Expected data sources and regional coverage Proposed timeline and milestones QA process and reproducibility approach Engagement Terms Fixed-price with milestones: scoping, data build, reporting NDA required upon award Paid test project may be requested (mini-pack for selected peers/roles) How to Apply Begin your cover letter with "C-Suite Tech Comp" to be considered.
