Are you a passionate and dynamic History Teacher looking to inspire young learners?Rotherwood Education are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Accrington area starting ASAP.This role is ideal for a passionate and adaptable Religious Education Teacher teacher who is ready to inspire students, embrace new challenges, and thrive in a dynamic and forward-thinking school environment.Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.Support learners of all abilities, using creative strategies to tailor lessons to individual needs.Encourage student participation through dynamic and interactive teaching methods.Contribute to the development of the History curriculum and departmental resources.Create a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes progress and achievement.The ideal History Teacher will:Hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification in History.Have recent experience teaching History within a UK secondary school, ideally at both Key Stage 3 and 4.Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine love for Religious Education.Show confidence in classroom management and the ability to foster a safe, respectful learning environment.Be proactive, creative, and committed to ongoing professional development.Be an excellent communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.Requirements:Relevant teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE or equivalent)Proven track record or relevant school-based experienceA current, enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for oneRelevant reference
