Role/Department: The role is part of the Global Regulatory Remuneration and EMEA Total Rewards team. Under its global regulatory remuneration remit, the team is responsible for ensuring that Northern Trust's compensation policies and practices comply with regulatory requirements across the jurisdictions where the company operates. The team acts as a partner and subject matter expert on remuneration-related regulatory matters for the wider HR function and other Corporate Groups/Business Units across Northern Trust. At an EMEA level, the team is responsible for the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and disclosures and the preparation and presentation of remuneration governance papers to local compensation committees. Additionally, the team supports local heads of HR across EMEA in the review and update of country-specific reward policies. They key responsibilities of the team include: Acting as a regulatory remuneration expert advising on compliance with remuneration regulationsOverseeing the application of the remuneration regulatory requirements for regulated entities across all regions both during the annual compensation cycle and throughout the yearConducting gap analyses against new regulatory requirements and driving the implementation of c
