Our client:A global leader in ingredient solutions, supporting innovation across food, beverage, and nutrition markets.Driving growth through strategic partnerships with retailers, manufacturers, and health-focused brands.Renowned for high-quality, functional ingredients that help brands meet evolving consumer needs.The role:The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will ensure full compliance with UK, EU, and global food and feed safety, quality, and defence standards, including Organic, Halal, FAMI QS, Kosher, and GFSI (BRC) requirements.As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assess their impact on the business, and update senior management compliance protocols as needed.The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will support the development and implementation of regulatory strategies for new and existing ingredients, covering allergens, REACH, Novel Foods, packaging, labelling, feed laws, residues, contaminants, and natural/botanical ingredients.The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for providing regulatory reviews of products for the quality team, coordinate with authorities on authorisations and licences, and maintain accurate product specifications in line with EU regulations.As Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will deliver regulatory training and support to quality, technical, commercial, and marketing teams across Europe to ensure compliance in all areas.The Regulatory Affairs Specialist will actively contribute to QA tasks and assist in crisis and incident management as part of the wider management team.It is preferred that this role will be Hybrid with expectations to be in the office 2 days a week. They are also open to candidates across the UK and will consider a remote contract if the commute is ~2hrs+. Note that with a remote contract you would still be expected to visit the office 1
