About the Role

  • Canberra Health Services provides high‑quality, person‑centred surgical care across the ACT and surrounding regions. Our Perioperative Services span Anaesthesia, the Pain Management Unit, Operating Theatres, PACU, Day Surgery and Admissions/Extended Day Surgery. Within the Peri‑Operative Unit at Canberra Hospital - including Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA), specialty theatres, PACU, EDSU and several specialised procedural areas - our Nurse Managers play a key leadership role. They oversee Scrubside and Anaesthetic/PACU services, lead and support nursing teams, manage resources, drive operational efficiency, and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced surgical environment.
