Regional Sales Director – Europe and AfricaA leading global provider of new generation IT solutions to the global Travel, Transportation and Logistics industries is looking for a Regional Sales Director to cover Europe and Africa. The role is home based with regular travel.Responsibilities:Management of the range of sales types: new deals, upsell, cross sell and renewals across a defined region in Europe and Africa.Define and execute a holistic account management plan that includes expansion of the customer base for software products in the target accountsOwn the contract management between the company and the airlineWork closely with product teams to have adequate awareness of products and provide inputs to the customer that will enhance the product visionAct as an ambassador of the airlines within the company, mobilising and motivating internal stakeholders in supporting the customer, whether it’s a sales engagement or to manage issuesEffectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentationsMeet the targets for the geography in line with the overall planRequirements:Sales experience, meeting or exceeding targetsProven ability to nurture prospects and accounts. An ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-levelExperience with and knowledge of product implementation cycles for large, mission critical applicationsStrong stakeholder management and relationship building competencies.
