About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of Edge Hill Sports. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of the Centre’s users, providing both administrative support and frontline service. Delivering excellent customer care in both the café and reception areas is essential to the success of this position and the wider operation of the complex.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide responsive and prompt communication to all customer queries via a range of methods, including face to face, telephone social media, email and website queries.
  • Use the leisure management system to make reservations, check availability, process memberships and bookings, and update customer records.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the shared/corporate email boxes and other electronic communications, fielding more complex queries on to the relevant section in a timely fashion.

Please note there are two positions available both Part Time, one for 19.94 Hours Per Week and 17.5 Hours Per Week.

About You

As A Receptionist, you will have:

  • Experience of working in a busy customer facing service industry
  • Excellent Customer Care in dealing with all customers
  • Good understanding of the reception role and responsibilities
  • Ability to create positive first impressions and to develop relationships with customers through excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision demonstrating problem solving and time management
