For over 36 years, we have supported families facing homelessness, relationship breakdowns and other challenges, helping them build safe and stable futures. Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors to The Roberts Centre, ensuring they sign in and are directed to the correct person or service.
- Answer and transfer telephone calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Take messages accurately and pass them on promptly to the relevant staff member.
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring it reflects the professional standards of the organisation.
- Provide basic information about The Roberts Centre’s services, referring to staff where appropriate.
- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier collections.
- Support with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry.
- Follow all safeguarding and visitor management procedures, ensuring the safety and security of all building users.
- Participate in relevant training provided by The Roberts Centre, including safeguarding, data protection, and health and safety.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- Personable, friendly, enthusiastic and approachable.
- Respectful of confidential and sensitive information.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
- Willingness to learn and attend training as needed.
