- What you’ll be doing
- Communicate multi-faceted technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders, influencing strategy across large, multi-national programmes
- Play a pivotal role in integrating advanced sensors into multi-layered weapon systems, drawing on experience across multiple specialist domains to deliver clear, evidence-based conclusions
- Tackle challenging problems head-on, driving root-cause analysis and developing or adapting innovative tools to enable robust solutions
- Manage and influence suppliers in challenging contractual and commercial environments, ensuring successful delivery and good partnerships
- Lead and inspire small to medium-sized teams of Systems Engineers, fostering collaboration and driving technical excellence

- Essential
- Supplier management with the ability to influence supplier actions and behaviours in challenging contractual and commercial environments
- Experience in integrating sensors into multi-layered weapon systems by working across multiple specialist domains and distilling technical information into clear conclusions
- Skilled in supporting small to medium-sized teams of Systems Engineers, fostering collaboration and driving delivery
- Good communicator, able to convey multi-layered concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders and influence large, multi-faceted, multi-national programmes
- Desirable
- Degree-level education in an engineering discipline, or a good foundation with the aspiration and capability to pursue a degree alongside work
- Early career experience gained through remove entirely sensor testing in both ground and airborne environments

- Join us and take the opportunity to work on next generation technology within the Typhoon ETRS Mark 2 jet, one of the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world. In this role, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for your department, providing technical leadership, guiding design decisions, and helping to shape the future of airborne sensor systems.
