We are seeking a freelance accountant or systems specialist with proven experience in migrating historical financial data into QuickBooks Online, ideally from Reviso or similar platforms. The project involves two UK-based companies (with around avg 20 transactions a month over the last 2 years), and we require full data migration covering financial years 01/10/2023 to 30/09/2025, including: • Multi-currency balances • Customer and supplier records • Chart of accounts • General ledger/journal entries • VAT return history and setup • MTD (Making Tax Digital) integration and readiness Ideal Candidate Requirements: • Proven experience migrating historical data into QBO (not just opening balances) • Comfortable working with UK-based accounting (VAT, MTD, HMRC) • Strong understanding of FX balances and reconciliation in QuickBooks • Experience with Reviso is a strong advantage • Ability to map and restructure Chart of Accounts and VAT codes accurately • Detail-oriented with strong reconciliation skills • Familiarity with migration tools (e.g. Dataswitcher, MMC Convert, Excel templates) • Able to meet a hard deadline of Friday 19th December ideally Deliverables: • Fully migrated QuickBooks Online company files for two entities • Accurate import of data from 01/10/2023 to 30/09/2025 • Matching Trial Balances, FX balances, aged receivables/payables • VAT return history replicated in QBO and MTD submission ready • Light documentation on import process and post-migration checks To apply, please include: • Brief summary of relevant migration projects (especially historical migrations into QBO) • Whether you’ve worked with Reviso or similar systems • Any UK company experience (including MTD/VAT compliance) • Availability this week and confirmation you can complete by next Friday • Your proposed fixed fee or day rate
