We are a UK-based quantity surveying consultancy seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to assist with pricing groundworks, civil engineering, and brickwork packages on residential and small commercial projects. Key Requirements: Proven experience within UK construction projects Ability to produce detailed Bills of Quantities to SMM7 standard Strong knowledge of first principles pricing methods Demonstrated experience in groundworks, civil engineering, and brickwork pricing Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines Responsibilities: Prepare and price Bills of Quantities for groundworks and brickwork trade packages Apply first principles pricing for labour, plant, and materials Provide clear breakdowns and justifications for pricing assumptions Work collaboratively with our team to deliver accurate and professional outputs Ideal Candidate: Background in UK residential or small commercial construction Experience using QS software and Excel for take-offs and pricing Reliable, responsive, and able to work remotely with clear communication Project Basis: Work will be on a freelance basis with the opportunity for repeat projects Please include details of your relevant experience and provide an example of previous groundworks or brickwork BOQ/pricing work if possible
