• Quantity Surveyor
• Location: Flexible (UK-wide travel required for site visits and supplier meetings)
• Contract: Permanent, full-time
• Salary: Competitive salary circa £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)

• Kensa is at the forefront of the UK’s transition to low-carbon heating. We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to ensure our projects are commercially sound and delivered efficiently helping us scale renewable heating solutions nationwide.

• What you’ll do
• Managing cost planning, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple projects.
• Preparing and analysing tenders, bills of quantities, and scopes of work.
• Leading commercial administration of NEC, JCT, and bespoke contract forms.
• Supporting procurement activities and building strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working closely with project managers to track progress and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Negotiating variations, managing risk, and agreeing final accounts.
• Providing clear commercial insight to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and supporting the growth of our renewable energy projects.
• What you'll bring

• Experience in quantity surveying within construction, engineering, or renewable energy.
• Strong commercial and contract management skills, including familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts.
• Confidence working with numbers, analysing data, and producing accurate reports.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with different teams.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple commitments.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach to tackling commercial challenges.
• An interest in sustainability and a desire to contribute to the decarbonisation of heat.
